Thai Chicken Meatballs in Sweet Chili Sauce

Quick, easy and delicious! Perfect for a quick appetizer or add some rice and dinner is served!

    Step1

    In a large mixing bowl combine: ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs. grated onion, soy sauce, garlic powder, lime juice, salt and pepper.

    Step2

    With a tablespoon form meatballs. In a large skillet on medium heat add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Next add meatballs to the skillet and brown the outside. You will probably have to do them in a couple batches, so they cook evenly and don't overcrowd the skillet. You can cook them entirely in the skillet or finish them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or internal temperature reaches 165.

    Step3

    Once meatballs are finished cooking all the way through, remove meatballs from skillet and wipe clean. Add 11/2 cups of sweet chili sauce on low heat.

    Step4

    Add meat balls, gently stir until they are completely coated in sauce. Heat until sauce is hot, then remove from heat and serve.

    Step5

    Can be served as an appetizer or a meal over rice, vegetables or noodles. Enjoy!
